Wrapped 2025
If Spotify can wrap a year, so can I. Here are the moments, lessons and little victories that shaped Red Rose Media & Marketing in 2025.
Websites that help people begin
Two new websites for counsellors in my favourite sector, health. Each site reflected a different audience and style. One focused on bereavement and mental health support, the other spoke to an LGBTQ community. Both were simple, accessible starters with clear pages and obvious next steps, designed to grow as their practice grows. My favourite bit is always finding the tone that reassures without overwhelming.
Media that moved people
A long-term partnership with Hednesford Town FC continued to thrive. We developed core media on and off the pitch, introduced regular player interviews and built a steady rhythm of matchday and behind the scenes content. A quirky TikTok passed 25k views, a high-attendance post on X reached over 2 million and picked up international interest, and we received kind words from supporters. The best part is the team behind it all, a brilliant group of volunteers and students who care about the club and community.
Content that shows your value
Ongoing work with Euro-Matic UK kept rolling: the first issue of their newsletter, The Ballpoint, behind the scenes reels from the warehouse and stock, and practical stories that show how versatile their products are in real settings. Proof and people still win the day.
Community that sparks ideas
Networking has been a genuine boost this year. I loved the Empower meeting and plan to get to more in 2026. The best conversations are the honest ones where you say the tricky thing out loud and leave with a clearer head, or a new contact who turns into a client. It reminds me that marketing works best when it feels human.
Teaching on the horizon
The last few months were about applications and shadowing. I start teaching social media in the new year. Short sessions, plain English, real examples. I am excited to help more people feel confident.
Systems that save time
Not glamorous, very necessary. I set up a new CRM, improved my bookkeeping and moved more of my finances into tidy digital processes. It saves time every week and frees up headspace for creative work.
Health projects with heart
I continued to work on a community-focused website for Macmillan Cancer Support. Alongside the web build, I helped create an offline version of their referral process that mirrors the site, making it easier for people to access support whichever route they choose. I am continuing with the project in the new year with plans around social media.
A film that mattered
I produced a video case study for the Katherine Allport Foundation, a charity very close to my heart. It was a privilege to help tell their story. I am delighted to be supporting them again in 2026.
Local creativity that grew from community
What started as sponsorship with Crystal Academy became content creation for behind the scenes. Real people, real pride, real momentum. Community projects like this remind me why I do what I do.
The business bits we do not always post about
I made some difficult decisions for the right reasons. I also experienced the sadness of a client folding. Running a small business is not a straight line, but clarity and care still carry you.
Tools that made a difference
My new monitor was a favourite purchase, and the phone gimbal earned its keep. A camera gimbal is on the wish list so I can save phone storage and keep shoots simple.
Life, in the middle of it all
There were tough moments. We said goodbye to loved ones and to our dog of 15 years. I juggled work and mum life, and my running shoes stayed in the cupboard more than I planned. There were brilliant moments too. Family adventures to Fort William, the Peak District and Bude, plus a surprise trip to Iceland with my husband. Rosie joined our family, and the boys made me proud time and again.
What I stand for
Plain English that respects the reader. Accessibility as standard, from alt text and captions to readable layouts. Content that sounds like a person and does a job. Sensible budgets and measures that matter. Community at the centre. That is Red Rose Media & Marketing.
How I help
I plan and create content you can keep up with, manage social media so it feels steady and human, produce simple videos that tell your story, and build or tidy websites so people can do the thing you need them to do. If you would like to feel calmer and clearer about your digital marketing in 2026, say hello.
Thanks to every repeat client, new client, collaborator and the friends I met at networking in 2025. Your support means a lot. Here is to more small wins, braver stories and kinder marketing in 2026.
