We’ve won a Central England Prestige Award
Red Rose Media & Marketing has been awarded Small Business Marketing Solutions of the Year in the Central England Prestige Awards 2026/27.
This is the first award my business has won, and it comes just after our third birthday!
My first business award
I was shocked when I received the call to tell me I had won. To be recognised by the Prestige Awards feels very special.
Being named an award finalist earlier this year was exciting, but this is the first time Red Rose Media & Marketing has actually won an award. I’m ridiculously excited and very proud.
The Prestige Awards celebrate small and independent businesses that consistently provide outstanding products and services. Winners are chosen on merit, with judges considering service excellence, quality, value, innovation and consistency.
Why the judges chose Red Rose Media & Marketing
The judges highlighted my five-star Google rating and the personal feedback clients have shared about working with me.
They also recognised my tailored approach, the value I provide and the knowledge I bring from 20 years working in communications and marketing.
I provide digital marketing support, content, websites, social media and practical training to small businesses in Cannock Chase and further afield.
I specialise in supporting therapy, treatment and wellbeing businesses and charities. My 16 years working in NHS communications have given me a strong understanding of clear, trustworthy messaging, particularly when communicating sensitive or complicated information.
Whatever type of business I’m supporting, I want clients to feel that I understand their work and that the service I provide is personal, useful and worth investing in.
The results behind the recognition
As part of the judging process, I shared examples of my work and the results achieved by my clients.
During one 17-month project, a client recorded a 122.5% increase in active website users, more than 44 million social media impressions and 218% growth in its LinkedIn following.
I also helped the client introduce clearer planning, processes and content systems, giving the organisation a more structured and consistent approach to its marketing and communications.
My wider work includes helping businesses improve their website content, strengthen their online visibility, communicate more clearly and create digital marketing that is easier to manage consistently.
The judges also recognised my commitment to sharing my marketing experience through training courses.
My practical training helps small business owners build their confidence and use AI as a tool to support their social media more effectively, while retaining their own judgement, personality and business voice.
From an interest to a full-time business
Digital marketing began as an interest alongside my communications career. People gradually started asking me to help with their businesses, and eventually it became my full-time job.
Three years on, I’ve built a business I’m really proud of. Winning this award has made me stop and realise how far it has come.
I wouldn’t have reached this point without the clients who have trusted me with their businesses over the past three years.
Every project, recommendation and piece of feedback has helped me build Red Rose Media & Marketing into what it is today. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of it.
I’ll officially receive the award at the Central England Prestige Awards ceremony in May 2027.
